As of today, the cod and haddock fishery which Nordic group works within is finally MSC-certified. The first shipments of certified sustainable cod and haddock are already on their way to market. This weekend, consumers in respectively Sweden, France and the Netherlands can enjoy fresh haddock fillets, loins and large cod from Finnmark.

Nordic Group congratulates the fishermen with this accomplishment. The certification has been a lengthy process, mostly due to project management delays by the certification body. With this behind us, we now look forward to selling more certified sustainable fish from the small-scale coastal fleet of Northern Norway!
